After you get arrested and appear in the selkath court the second time, you walk in on the selkath discussing something. One says, "But if they could do that, then the whole [thing] could..." to which the other interrupts, "Silence! This is not for outsiders to hear!" Do you think the answer to what this is will appear in KOTOR 2? What were they talking about?

Who knows? It could be something about the Sith. It sounds more directed toward the Sith, in my opinion. I don't think anyone really knows. All we can do is speculate, unless one of the developers answers (there's about a 99.9% chance of them not answering).

Indeed. Although, there is a new one and the originator kind of proved that there can be cross-breeding.  But speculation, like I said before, is a good mental exercise.

Do the math and they're talking about Selkath legend, lore, myth and culture. Where they all came from, evolution etc. Any more, and I'll have spoiled.

In that conversation, I don't think they are talking about the Progenitor. The Progenitor is after that court trial.

I think that the missing word is "system" where [thing] goes. But I don't remember exactly. If it is system, they could be talking about the neutrality arrangement with the Sith and Republic. Or they could be talking about the ecosystem and their fragile environment.
I don't know what "If they could do that" refers to. Maybe it means being able to contaminate the kolto. Or maybe being able to harvest the kolto without Selkath assistance.
My guess is that the Selkath was saying that if the [you know who] could get the [you know what] by themselves, the Selkath system of neutrality could fall apart and they would be forced to choose sides in the war.Edited By Luck of Kudos on 07/22/04 01:16 |

Ummm... I thought they were discussing Taris, and the complete distruction of. The selkath are discussing the neutrality agreement but are starting to fear the sith power. (Perhaps this is why they agreed to allow the Republic to mine the kolto?)Edited By ember_dione on 07/23/04 14:48 |
