Hey I wonder if the wookie in kotor will be as cool as chewbaca. Speaking of Chewy...did anyone read that chewy WILL be making an app. in Ep III? That will be totally BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!! |

What do you mean? Chewbacca was over 200 years old in A New Hope and if his being in Episode III contradicts anything from books, that's the authors problem.  |

Rather funny to see how quick people are already blaming George Lucas for this mistake, whilst no one even has a faint idea what the heck Chewie's role will be.

Who do you blame besides the author???  besides I dont care what GL does anymore after phantom menace and attack of the clones(especially midichlorians) I don't really care what he does/says anymore.

My problem is that people are way too quick to judge Lucas. For all we know, Chewbacca will receive a role that parallels Bail Organa. Just a quick walk-by, mayhaps a smile in the camera, a roar here and there, and then he's off again. Yet people are already shouting that GL is a hack, that he lost his talent, that he's doing it for the money(well, that's up for debate  ), that he's raping someone's childhood, that someone won't pay attention to Episode 3 because Lucas totally lost it and what-not, all because there'll be a quick neat cameo appearance of a character. Egad, this little stint almost rivals the reaction when N'Sync, a group of SW fans, might've had a quick cameo appearance. (to be honest, I personally really found the reaction to that particular subject of some fans outrageous)
To be honest, a quick cameo appearance by Chewie would make a bit of sense. After all, Mace Windu and Yoda pretty much had cameo role in Episode 1, and their roles grew exponentially in Episode 2. Likewise with Bail Organa... he had, what, two lines at most? There's a big chance that he'll have an important role in Episode 3. Of course, we also have the Lars family making a quick cameo appearance in Episode 2(and possible 3), who'll have a bigger role in 4. I personally expect that Lucas is gonna hold up this tradition, and give a small role to a character whom will grow in the upcoming series, namely Chewbacca.
