My older grandkids, 7, 9, 10, love to watch me play the Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights games. Especially my 7 year old grand daughter as the main character can be female.

Reading about Dragon Age says that there are sex, language, and nudity warnings. Is there a way to turn these things off?

I've been playing Sword and Sorcerer RPG's since the days of Lords of Magic. I'd hate to pass Dragon Age up since I couldn't let them watch me play.

Thanks!

There is only sexual situations or nudity if you choose to persue a romance sub-plot. Even then, they are very tasteful with no real nudity, but definitely what some people would call "adult situations". All romances are optional and, if you do not choose to follow one, you will not see these situations. It is also possible to visit a bordello called The Pearl, again, this can easily be avoided.

There is some mature language. While not of the more modern profanities are used, there are certainly some strong oaths yelled or "colorful adjectives" used to discuss opponents.

There is also a lot of blood and violence. It is a mature rated game. Use your own discretion.

Is there a gore on/off switch or some kind of slider? I'd been wondering about that.

There is a toggle that will prevent blood from appearing on the player, but it will not turn off the blood in the game.

What a wonderful game, I recently started playing and am completely immersed.

Some friend's and I recently started a video game website in which we did a review for Dragon Age: Origins. Just thought I'd share it with all of you:

Love this game. I am worried however about rumours of corrupted saves though. Hasen't happened yet (crossing fingers).
I really really hope there will be expansion packs for the Xbox 360 I would happily pay the extra bucks for it, I cant get xbox live as well as heaps of friends of mine cant due to the areas we live (rural) and if the patches come with them...well I'd be a happy man.

I have completed the game, and I just have to say that it was phenomenal. Everything I had hoped for and then some. I will add that I did have a small issue with a corrupted save file. My main character and Morrigan both lost their main hand weapons. My main character was weilding Starfang, and Morrigan had Winter's Breathe! I had saved it and something happened to shut the game down. Once I restarted it their weapons were gone. They weren't even visible on the saved picture for the save file! Needless to say I only lost about 20 minutes of game play by having to go back to an earlier save. That almost didn't work either. I had to restart my computer.

Hi all

I just wanted to find out if bioware was making any patches for the ps3 frame rate issues. The game is awesome but sadly my frame rate is so bad during game play that I cannot truly appreciate the game.

Please help!!!!

Finished the PC version on Hard last night. The Hard setting was perfect for me, the "boss" fights had me thinking strategy and group setup instead of steam-rolling through them.

I'm not one to post on community sites, but I was toroughly impressed with the game and the story. The ending I chose has me wondering how the story would end for other characters, and I may even replay the game again as another race/class, making different decisions along the way, just to see how the game would end otherwise!

Replaying a game is not something I usually enjoy, but after a little break, I may go at it again! Kudos on a game done right!
